Of the books tailoring to the INFP type on , especially in this price range, I have to say this is by far the most exceptional. I've noticed that most of the books I've either bought for $3-4 or have checked out with unlimited are a little skimpy, to say the least. I do appreciate a good list of short notes or points, but unless it's on unlimited it seems a little pricey. However, this book is truly full of original ideas and points, and seems to go on and on. I have to wonder if the author herself is a INFP too, because it seems like a lot of her insight is really point on for a lot of reasons. I really appreciated how she was able to put into words a lot of things that one would know in a intuitive sense if not in a concrete way. I would suggest this book for any INFP looking for insight for self-help or realization, or for their friends and family who may otherwise just label them as being weird in some way, and leave it at that. One of my struggles has always been relating to and conversating with people who must be ST or TJ or however it would be that they would not understand the feeling intuitive nature of our point of view. I find it ironic and amusing that the couple of such people I shared a screenshot of a extremely relevant page from this book relating to how we can get along, were simply not interested and dismissive of such a point of view. However, understanding what is going on with such people is truly important to get along in the world, and I appreciate this book for articulating some important ideas. Thanks for putting this up!
Just started to flip through. The Infp is referred to as a "he" in each sentence which puzzles me.
Disappointed. Hoped for something more comprehensive. May learned a little bit about INFPs but not what expencted,
A lot of good information that really hit the mark for me and helped me understand myself and why I do some of the things I do. Crazy that these traits also apply to others... good to know I'm not the only one! Only downside is there is a lot of repetition... could probably cut out 1/3 of the book by eliminating the repeated points. Still, worth reading if you want to understand more about what makes the INFP personality tick!
This book is an in depth look at what it means to be INFP. I highly recommend it for someone of this type
Wasn't too interested after reading the first chapter, seemed a bit too "fluffy", and thought I might have made a mistake with the purchase. But it became much more insightful as it progressed. It's not an airy rehash of stuff easily found online. Worth a read.
This is an accurate description of what turmoil the INFP goes through, and a cheering up of the personality type to see their strengths.
